There’s something special about AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 — and this year, we felt it more than ever. From the moment we arrived, it was clear: this wasn’t just another industry event, but a place where business aviation genuinely comes together.

The organization was spot on, the business aviation halls felt vibrant and purposeful, and the static display was simply impressive — the kind that makes you stop, look around, and remember why this industry is so unique.

New faces, fresh energy

One of the highlights for us was seeing how many new players are entering the market — both on the charter side and in tech. There’s a noticeable shift happening.

In particular, it was great to see the growing presence of The TAB, a new initiative held by FL3XX and Mr. Paolo Sommariva, bringing together companies that are thinking about technology not as a buzzword, but as a practical tool. The focus is clear: use innovation where it truly makes a difference — helping businesses make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions.

Conversations that matter

For the Aviapages team - myself and our CTO Maxim Gruzin, these three days were all about people. We had countless conversations — with long-time partners, new contacts, and teams we’ve known only online until now.

There’s always something different about meeting in person. You exchange more than just updates — you share perspectives, challenges, and ideas that don’t come up in calls or emails.

We talked a lot about integrations, about how to make flight time and cost calculations more accurate, how to improve scheduling and quoting workflows — and how to make everything just a bit more seamless for the end user.

It was also incredibly rewarding to hear how well-known Aviapages is across the industry. Many people told us they use our solutions daily — whether they’re operators, brokers, FBOs, or handling teams. And just as important — they told us what we can do better.

That honest feedback is probably the most valuable thing we brought back with us.

A shift in the event landscape

We also heard a lot of conversations comparing AERO Friedrichshafen with European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition. And the sentiment is hard to ignore: for many, AERO is becoming a more practical and efficient alternative — not only in terms of results, but also cost.

It feels like the center of gravity is slowly shifting.

What we’re taking with us

We’re leaving AERO 2026 with a full calendar of follow-ups, new ideas to explore, and a clearer understanding of where we can bring the most value next.

It was a genuinely productive few days — busy, sometimes intense, but exactly the kind of energy that moves things forward.

And yes — we’re already thinking ahead.

You’ll definitely see Aviapages back at AERO exhibiting in 2027.
