United Helicharters Private Limited (UHPL) is a joint venture company with Qatar Petroleum of Qatar, Great Offshore Limited and UB Air Private Limited as major shareholders. Renowned Qatar Petroleum is an oil company belonging to government of Qatar, which through its Associate Company “Gulf Helicopters”, provides logistic and technical services to various companies in the Middle-East. Great Offshore is leading service provider in Oil & Gas Industry in the country with assests ranging from Drilling rigs, Construction barges, Off Shore Support Vessels and Anchor Handling Tugs. UB Air Private Limited is an old aviation company which operated as an Air Taxi operator and subsequently changed over to a non scheduled operator status. UB Air Private Limited and Great Offshore Ltd were operating helicopters on their operator’s permit from 1995 till 2003 after which all the operating divisions of each of these companies were merged and a Joint Venture company was formed which is now operating as United Helicharters Pvt. Ltd. (UHPL).
