Luray Caverns Airport

Luray Caverns Airport provides a user friendly atmosphere supportive of the development of general aviation. The airport strives to afford the citizens of Page County an environment that fosters pride and economic development including promotion of aeronautical education and training that benefits our nation’s defense and commercial transportation system. Luray – Page County Airport Authority is a responsible steward of the investment made by citizens in their airport.

The Luray Caverns Airport is a public use, general aviation airport operated under the supervision of the Luray-Page County Airport Authority, located two (2) miles west of the Town of Luray on Airport Road, it has a 3,126 X 75 foot runway and will accommodate turboprop and propeller driven aircraft of 12,500 pounds or less. 

The airport is equipped with an Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS III) to provide pilots with real-time weather data to promote safe operations. The AWOS can be reached at 540-743-1148 or on 118.275 on your radio.

There are 28 hangar spaces for lease to private citizens and businesses and 22 tie-down spots to facilitate aircraft based at or visiting the airport. Thirty aircraft are currently based at Luray Caverns Airport.
