BHS Aviation GmbH was established in 2008 as BHS Helicopterservice with its headquarters in Bamberg as a company that specializes in business helicopter flights. In 2019, the Bamberg-based BHS Aviation GmbH signed the contracts to purchase the helicopter business of its Stuttgart cooperation partner DC Aviation GmbH. Therefor, both companies were rebranded as the BHS Aviation Group and were able to expand their services to helicopter and business jet charter as well.
