ALPINE AVIATION, INC. is an aviation company founded in 1990 by Sandy and Gordon Mills who continue to own and operate it today. We offer aircraft charter, maintenance, management, pilot flight training, and aircraft rental. We are located in Grass Valley, California, 50 miles north of Sacramento in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Alpine Aviation started as an FAA Certificated Air Carrier in October 1991 and began chartering with a Beech Twin Bonanza. Since 1991, we have operated several different charter aircraft from single-engine to twin engines and turboprop. Soon afterward we moved into flight training and aircraft maintenance.

Since 2014 Alpine offers Seaplane training and is one of three facilities who offer seaplane aircraft rental in the United States.

Since March 2006 Alpine Aviation became a FAA Repair Station and became service centers for Diamond and Cessna for aircraft maintenance. We service most single-engine, twin-engine and some turbine aircraft. We also provide a variety of avionic services- everything from complete instrument panel modification to installing the new ADS-B.

As of April 2017, Alpine Aviation is a Diamond Aircraft Authorized Sales Representative. Diamond Aircraft offers advanced single and twin-engine technology, sleek modern design, and great training aircraft with a minimum amount of fuel burn.

Alpine Aviation offers an Aircraft Maintenance Management Program which includes maintaining aircraft in full compliance with the FARs, factory maintenance requirements and service bulletins. We currently provide 18 customers with this service.
