On July 17, Tracy Bohaboj, Shaylee Kreutzer, and former employee, Emmeline Watson supported the 23rd annual University of Nebraska-Lincoln's All Girls/All Math summer camp by presenting their education and career path to working in an Aerospace Engineering environment. Following a facility tour, the campers were given the opportunity for a hands-on activity to measure and perform aerodynamic calculations on aircraft antennas.
This is the fifth year that Duncan Aviation has supported the camp in this capacity. The week-long camp for about 30 high school girls provides a stimulating and supportive environment for girls to develop their mathematical ability and interest. Participants learned about the exciting mathematics of codes, attended a short course in Aerodynamics, and interacted with peers who share an interest in mathematics.
