American business aviation manufacturer Gulfstream has delivered the first G800 ultra-long-range business jet to a private client. The handover took place on August 27, 2025, though the identity of the recipient has not been disclosed.

This year, Gulfstream plans to deliver a total of 13 G800 jets, including the first 20 aircraft to owners of the G650, whose production concluded earlier in 2025.

Unmatched Range and Performance

The Gulfstream G800 is engineered for long-haul excellence. Its maximum range reaches 15,000 kilometers, allowing nonstop flights between major global cities. The jet cruises at 960 km/h (Mach 0.90), with a maximum flight altitude of 15,545 meters, making it one of the fastest ultra-long-range business jets currently in service.

Powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G800 can carry up to 19 passengers, making it ideal for corporate travel, private charters, or luxury long-distance journeys.

Advanced Certification and Technology

The G800 received its type certification from U.S. and European regulators on April 16, 2025, following extensive testing and development. The aircraft features a wide range of modern technological innovations, from advanced avionics to state-of-the-art cabin systems, ensuring both safety and comfort during extended flights.

Market Impact

The delivery of the first G800 signals Gulfstream’s continued dominance in the ultra-long-range market. With unmatched range, speed, and luxurious cabin configurations, the G800 is positioned to compete strongly with other flagship business jets.

Gulfstream’s approach combines technological excellence, performance, and passenger comfort, reinforcing its reputation among executives, private owners, and charter operators who require both speed and reliability across continents.
