Calculating a flight is only the first step. Once you know the flight time, route, and estimated charter cost, you still need to review the itinerary and understand whether any part of the mission requires additional attention. To make this process easier, we've introduced AI Evaluation (Beta) in the Aviapages Flight Time & Cost Calculator.

AI Evaluation analyzes the completed flight calculation and summarizes the most important operational considerations in a structured, easy-to-read format. It doesn't replace dispatchers or flight planning software. Instead, it helps users review the calculation results more efficiently.

What AI Evaluation analyzes

After each calculation, AI reviews the available calculation results and operational information already provided by Aviapages.

Depending on the itinerary, the evaluation may include:

  • • Main operational risks
  • • Overall flight summary
  • • Departure review
  • • Flight feasibility
  • • Passenger comfort
  • • Airport slots and PPR considerations
  • • Arrival operating hours
  • • Ground handling information
  • • Parking considerations
  • • Customs information
  • • Weather considerations

Rather than reading through multiple sections of the calculation manually, users receive a structured explanation of the itinerary.

Highlighting the most important risks

One of the main goals of AI Evaluation is helping users quickly identify the issues that deserve attention. Each evaluation begins with Main Risks, grouped by priority.

For example:

Critical

Estimated trip fuel exceeds the aircraft's fuel capacity for one leg of the itinerary.

High

A complex multi-leg mission with several international sectors may require additional operational coordination.

Medium

Arrival is planned close to airport or FBO operating hours, leaving less flexibility if delays occur. Instead of searching through the calculation, users immediately see which parts of the itinerary may require additional review.

Example

Let's look at a multi-leg Falcon 7X itinerary.

The Flight Time & Cost Calculator generates:

  • • Total flight time
  • • Estimated charter price
  • • Flight route
  • • Individual legs
  • • Flight distances
  • • Wind-adjusted flight time
  • • Suggested technical stops (when applicable)
  • • Airport information
  • • Pricing breakdown

For one of the sectors (Singapore → Geneva), the calculator detects that the estimated trip fuel exceeds the aircraft's maximum fuel capacity and suggests several possible technical stop airports.

Based on these calculation results, AI Evaluation identifies this sector as the most significant operational concern and recommends reviewing options such as:

  • • reducing payload,
  • • planning an intermediate fuel stop,
  • • or selecting a different aircraft.

This allows the user to understand the significance of the calculator's warning much faster.

More than a warning

AI Evaluation doesn't simply repeat warnings already shown by the calculator. It explains them in context.

For example, the evaluation may summarize that:

  • • one particular leg requires additional planning,
  • • the overall itinerary is operationally complex because of multiple international sectors,
  • • or a planned arrival leaves little margin before airport operating hours become restrictive.

The goal is to make calculation results easier to understand and prioritize.

Designed for business aviation professionals

AI Evaluation was developed for professionals who regularly review private jet itineraries, including:

  • • Charter brokers
  • • Aircraft operators
  • • Flight departments

It helps users quickly understand the results produced by the Flight Time & Price Calculator before discussing the itinerary with customers or continuing operational planning.

AI Evaluation is an assistant, not the final decision

AI Evaluation is intended to support the review process. It should not replace operational dispatch, flight planning, regulatory compliance, airport confirmation, NOTAM review, weather briefings, or aircraft performance calculations. Users should always verify operational information before making flight decisions.

Available now in Beta

AI Evaluation is currently available in Beta inside the Aviapages Flight Time & Cost Calculator. After reviewing the generated evaluation, users can leave a 5-star rating at the bottom of the AI Evaluation section. Your feedback helps us improve the quality and usefulness of future versions.
