I am one of those who actually wears a techwear bodysuit almost every day and uses it not for fashion, but for business. I have a model from LocalInterface, series X23, I have been wearing it since November - at first I thought it would just be a "stylish shell", but in fact I got something much more thoughtful and functional. Firstly, regarding overheating - no, you don't sweat like in a greenhouse, although I also move a lot. They use a special material based on a smart membrane, it reacts to body temperature and humidity. For example, I noticed: if I walk quickly across a bridge, the suit literally "opens" - the ventilation zones are activated, it feels like the fabric starts to breathe. When you go indoors, it "closes" again, it becomes warm. It protects from the rain perfectly. I got caught in a downpour with a strong wind in March - I didn't get wet at all, the water just rolled off the surface. The only thing I would add is protection for the seams near the zipper. They got a little wet once, but I wrote to support and they sent me a new removable protective valve (they really work, by the way).
