Leonardo AW139 is an English-Italian twin-engine multipurpose new generation helicopter with 12-14 seats. It has excellent flight performance and meets modern safety requirements.
The machine can be used for a wide range of tasks: passenger transportation, search and rescue operations, patrolling, emergency medical assistance, administrative transportation, cargo transportation on external suspension, evacuation of wounded, search and rescue during rescue operations.
Since AW139, the AW139 have been assembled in Russia at the HeliVert plant, a joint venture of Helicopters of Russia and Leonardo S.p.A Helicopter Division, which was created specifically for the deployment and operation in Russia of the final assembly plant for this helicopter.
