The Bell 429 is a twin-engine helicopter of US manufacturer Bell Flight, part of Textron Inc. Our HB-ZYI comes in VIP furnishing with a decent phantom grey livery and convinces with a fine napple leather interior.
The Bell 429 is powered by two turbine engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada (PW207D2), each delivering 635hp (max continuous).
The first Bell 429 had it's maiden flight in February 2007. In 2009 the model series received the Candian and European permit to fly.
Depending on it's configuration, the Bell 429 can be used for various operation specifications. It is very popular for rescue and medical transportation (HEMS), for law inforcement or as a fast and smooth helicopter for VIP missions.
The Bell 429 is delivered with the option for fixed landing gear or with a retracteable wheeled landing gear.
