On Friday March 8th, Rega's ″HB-JRA″ ambulance jet was transported from Alpnach to the Museum of Transport in Lucerne.
This iconic Bombardier CL-604 has been operating for 16 years, having completed its first ever mission on November 27th, 2002. Guided tours of the aircraft have been organised as part of the exhibition's ″Switzerland Flies!″ and will be available starting April 16th, 2019.
Throughout its' operating lifespan, the jet ambulance has carried over 4,000 patients and served 156 destinations worldwide.
