The Beechcraft 1900D is a 19-passenger, pressurized twin-engine turboprop, Two Pilots. The 1900D is specially designed to provide “stand-up cabins” which allow most passengers to walk upright. It is the only 18-seat airliner with this feature. Other features such as more powerful engines and EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System) are further details underlining the capability of this new category of planes in Tanzania.
