An empty leg refers to an unsold portion of a one - way private charter flight booked by a customer, which can be sold at up to 70% off the usual charter cost.
So, if we have a flight booked by a customer from Paris, then we need to fly the aircraft from it's location to Paris for the start of this flight – this is an empty leg which is available to book at a highly discounted rate!
