COVID-19: RESTRICTIONS 

I. THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND ISSUED A REGULATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE LIMITATION OF THE COVID-19 SPREAD (SARS-COV-2) WHICH INTRODUCES BANS IN AIR TRAFFIC. 


II. THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND RESTORED BORDER CONTROL AT THE NIGHT OF MARCH 13/14 2020. 


III. COVID-19: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS TILL JUNE 16, 2020, AT 2359LMT (JUNE 16, 2020, AT 2159UTC) CIVIL AIRCRAFT PERFORMING INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS WITH PASSENGERS LANDING ON REGISTERED CIVIL AIRPORTS AND ON REGISTERED AIRSTRIPS WITHIN THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND ARE BANNED. EN ROUTE AIR TRAFFIC SERVICE(S) IS NORMAL BUT AIR OPERATORS WHOSE AIRCRAFT PERFORM TRANSIT FLIGHTS TROUGH THE EPWW FIR, SHOULD NOT PLAN ALTERNATE AIRPORTS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND. THE FOLLOWING FLIGHT OPERATIONS ARE EXEMPTED FROM ABOVE: 

1) CARGO FLIGHTS, FLIGHTS WITHOUT CARGO AND WITHOUT PASSENGERS,

2) FLIGHTS WITH STATUS: HOSP, HUM, HEAD AND OTHER FLIGHTS PERFORMED IN ORDER TO SAVE PEOPLES LIVES OR HEALTH (E.G. WITH THE RESCUE PAROLE), FLIGHTS TO PROTECT PUBLIC ORDER (E.G. WITH THE GUARD PAROLE), 

3) FLIGHTS TO THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND BY AIRCRAFT CHARTERED AT THE ORDER OF: - TOUR OPERATORS OR AN ENTITY ACTING ON THEIR BEHALF BEFORE MARCH 15, 2020 - THE PRIME MINISTER - A NATURAL OR LEGAL PERSON, PERFORMED BY AIRCRAFT WITH UP TO 15 PASSENGER SEATS. 

4) CHARTER FLIGHTS PERFORMED BY FOREIGN AIR CARRIERS AT THE ORDER OF FOREIGN STATES IN ORDER TO BRING BACK THEIR CITIZENS, 

5) EMERGENCY FLIGHTS. 


IV. COVID-19: PASSENGERS RESTRICTIONS THE FOLLOWING PASSENGERS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND: 

1) CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, 

2) FOREIGNERS WHO ARE SPOUSES OR CHILDREN OF CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND OR WHO ARE UNDER PERMANENT CUSTODY OF CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, 

3) FOREIGNERS HAVING A POLES CARD, 

4) HEADS OF DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS AND MEMBERS OF THE DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR PERSONNEL OF A MISSION, I.E. PERSONS WITH A DIPLOMATIC RANK AND MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES, 

5) FOREIGNERS WITH A PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT ON THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, 

6) FOREIGNERS WITH A RIGHT TO BE EMPLOYED ON THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, I.E. FOREIGNERS WITH A RIGHT TO PERFORM WORK ON THE SAME RULES AS CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, HAVING AN EMPLOYMENT PERMIT, A SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT PERMIT, A STATEMENT ON ENTRUSTMENT OF WORK TO A FOREIGNER ON THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND, 7) FOREIGNERS WHO GAINED A PERMIT OF THE COMMANDER OF A BORDER GUARD UNIT TO ENTER THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND. 


V. BEFORE THE TAKE-OFF, AIR OPERATORS ARE OBLIGED TO INFORM THE PASSENGERS WHO FLY TO THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND ABOUT THE CONTENT OF POINT IV ABOVE.
