In a letter to the editor published in the Omaha World-Herald, Mike Gerdes, president of Lincoln, NE-based Silverhawk Aviation, recounted how business aviation helped out following flooding in the state. “In short, business aviation is a vital part of Nebraska’s economy and transportation system – in good times and bad,″ he wrote.
