FAMEX 2019: From April 24th to 27th, Airbus Helicopters will showcase its popular light helicopter range, including the single-engine H125 and H130, and a twin-engine of the H145 family at the Air Force Base Nr. 1 – Santa Lucia, Zumpango, Mexico.
With excellent performance, the aircraft are perfectly adapted to Mexico’s high and hot operational conditions and can be configured to perform a wide range of public service missions such as emergency medical transport (EMS), law enforcement and fire-fighting.
The true multi-mission capacity of the H125 will also be highlighted by the variety of equipment present in the armor plated aircraft, which includes a hoist, a sling and searching light.
The H130 offers a wide and silent cabin perfectly adapted to EMS missions.
Unveiled in Heli-Expo 2019, the best-selling H145 light twin-engine helicopter has now been upgraded with an innovative five-bladed rotor which increases the useful load of the helicopter by 150 kg, making it a good choice for the replacement of the ageing muti-role medium fleet in the region.
On the military side, visitors will get the chance to discover the H225M and the AS565 MBe Panther, on the Mexican Army and Navy’s booth respectively. Both these aircraft have played a key role performing SAR and disaster relief missions during the natural disasters that have affected the country in the recent years.
