The Cessna 206 Stationair is the workhorse of MACK AIR and is widely used throughout the Okavango. This aircraft has excellent short-field take-off and landing capabilities, making it ideally suited for some of the rougher bush strips experienced in the Okavango. The 206 cruises at 230 km/h and has a range of 1,360 km. All six of these aircraft in the MACK AIR fleet are equipped with underbelly cargo pods providing for an extra 300lbs of luggage space.
