Akamai Air, LLC

Akamai Air is family-owned and operated, we are based in the Salt Lake City Valley, and has been in operations since 2004, with a Perfect Safety Record.

We operate Beechcraft B200, Pilatus PC 12, and 24 Jet powered aircraft, that have executive seating for up to 9 passengers and travel over 450 mph.

Our private Jet Charter Aircraft, operate out of the Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC). However, we are at a convenient private FBO, where parking is free and you are just steps away from your aircraft. You do not have to deal with the hustle and bustle of the International airport security and checkpoints

Akamai Operates under FAA Air Carrier Certificate AWDA108K.

Its owner and Chief Pilot has been flying Air Charters for over 28 years and has over 32,000 hours of flight experience that spans the globe.

He started flying in 1982 in the United Kingdom, he moved to the USA where he bought a small Piper J-5 Cub to build hours. Having flown the little plane all over the South East of the USA.

He soon had enough flight time to be hired as a Captain for a small Air Charter operation in Florida, which eventually led to him to all parts of the world. He and his wife brought a charter operation in Hawaii where he flew for 16 years as its Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.

 In 2008 he joined Adventure Air as Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.



In 2010 he and his wife Kay bought Adventure Air and gave it its new name to Akamai Air.

"Akamai " means in the Hawaiian language "Smart or Intelligent"!

That is the way we conduct our Air Charter operations.
